The Swedish Corporate Governance Board is one of the five executive bodies within the Association for Generally Accepted Principles in the Securities Market, (Föreningen för god sed på värdepappersmarknaden), which is a collective body for self-regulation of the Swedish corporate sector. The Association was set up by a number of business organizations to create an overall structure for self-regulation of the corporate sector. The other constituent bodies of the Association are the Swedish Securities Council, (Aktiemarknadsnämnden); The Council for Swedish Financial Reporting Supervision, (Nämnden för svensk redovisningstillsyn); the Swedish Corporate Reporting Board, (Rådet för hållbarhets- och finansiell rapportering); and the Stock Market Self-Regulation Committee (Aktiemarknadens självregleringskommitté).
